Slow Rollers Summer Calendar: June 2025 (done!)

 Slow Rollers Poultney doesn't have a full summer of events planned quite yet, but here's the rest of May and June for you to take a look at!  

  • May 22nd.  Bikes and Botany!  Town ride with guest host Brooke Gates, a local herbalist and farmer.  She'll show us edible and medicinal plants.  There might even be some foraging going on, so bring some scissors, long socks (ticks!) and your learning cap!  6pm at Analog, 188 Main St, Poultney VT.  Post ride hangs at Poultney Pub.  
  • May 29th.  Slow Rollers French Ride!  Slow Roller Emily will lead a ride with some sort of French theme.  Expect: bagettes, possibly a Godard movie, striped shirts.  6pm at Analog, 188 Main St, Poultney VT.  Post ride hangs at Poultney Pub. 
  • May 31st:  Starting on the 31st, every Saturday swing by Analog from 8-11am for Handmade Donuts and Pour Over coffee by Slow Roller Whitney aka our host at the Poultney Pub.  
  • June 5th.  Town Ride (4-6 miles) followed by an art opening / food / drinks at the Poultney Pub featuring drawings by fellow Slow Roller James (hey that's me!) Ride starts at 6pm at Analog, 188 Main St, Poultney VT. 7pm art opening!  

  • June 7th:  The Self-Sufficient Cyclist: Gear making and field repair clinic with Ariel from Fifth Season Canvas, and field repair for bikes with James from Analog.  Bonus bike fit clinc on the morning of the 8th.  Includes coffee, donuts, 2 short chill rides, optional camping.  Registration (costs money, sorry!) here: https://www.bikereg.com/the-self-sufficient-cyclist-bikepacking-clinic

  • June 12th:  Slow Rollers Potluck.  Bring a side or a main dish or desert. Ride starts at 6pm at Analog, 188 Main St, Poultney VT.  We'll have a big camp fire, so you can bring things to cook up.  

  • June 14th:  Analog's 7th Annual 4x4 ride.  40, 25, 12 mile route options.  The 12 mile route is Slow Rollers Approved! Pre ride donuts and coffee.  Swimming holes.  Post ride camping and taco feast.  Buschgaritas.  Analog's biggest summertime event.  You gotta sign up for this one: https://www.bikereg.com/analog-cycles-4x4-2025

  • June 19th:  Slow Rollers Creemee ride and lake swim.  Bring a few bucks for creemees.  We'll ride from Poultney to Bomoseen.  It's an 18 mile ride round trip but we'll go slow!  Post ride hangs at Poultney Pub. 
  • June 26th:  Slow Rollers Boat Race.  This is a special Family friendly ride, so all ages are welcome.  The ride will be super short, a spin around town then down the rail trail.  Sub 3 miles total.  We'll head to the river, make little boats on the sandbar, and then race them.  Irrelevant prizes.  Free of course.  Ride starts at 6pm at Analog, 188 Main St, Poultney VT.  Post ride hangs at Poultney Pub.
